Newport Charter Tours ~ Protected Bay | Bellevue Mansions
We are the only motorboat that offers regular tours daily to see the gorgeous Bellevue Mansions. This is a weather dependent trip and we recommend taking precautions for seasickness as we are in the Atlantic Ocean, with its associated waves for much of the tour. It’s totally worth it. Along the beautiful and rugged coastline chock full of colorful history, you will see Jay Lenno’s home, Rough Point, Marble House and many more.
Inside the protected waters of Narragansett Bay, there are a multitude sights to see. From Gilded Age summer homes to historic forts and a gorgeous coastline, you will feast your eyes and curiosity about the Newport Area. From the Revolutionary War until the present day, big names and events have shaped the history of our Island and Bay.
Picnics | Swimming | Fun
Scup is the perfect vessel for visiting a cove to swim (you will need to sign a waiver), have a bite to eat or to simply enjoy a slow and romantic cruise on. Swimming is easy on and off with a swim platform and ladder, and her broad aft deck is a wonderful place to enjoy your picnic and a beverage or two.
